Hinagdanan Cave in Bohol

Hinagdanan came from the word "hagdan" which means "stairs". One thing that catches our attention here is the hospitality shown by the tourist guides. They are very approachable and they also give trivia and important information about the cave which show that they really are knowledgeable about their place.

Hinagdanan cave is a very unique cave since you have to go through stairs. A part of the wall has paintings on it and since it is really dark on that side, you can only see it when you capture a picture of it with flash on your camera. Stalactites and stalagmites are seen inside which are really awesome because they were made several decades of years ago but were not destroyed until now despite of the earthquake which hit the island last 2013.

Inside the cave is a small body of water which is really cold where you can actually enjoy swimming. While we were there, there were foreigners who was enjoying the coldness of the fresh water with their family.
